Burek (Belgrade)
Convenience store in Palace Albanija
Belgrade
Burek is a type of baked pastries made with phyllo dough and stuffed with a variety of cheese and savory items. On this occasion, a mushroom and cheese rendition is on offer on the streets of Belgrade. The phyllo is crisp and buttery, while the mushroom-cheese oozes out with reckless abandon. The onions in the filling provide subtle sweetness to dance merrily with the savory cheese. Good stuff.
1 star to the burek.
