Xiangchangxiang Hotpot (湘肠香火锅店) Tuanjiehu, Beijing.
Pork intestines, simmered in a hot spicy soup base. The intestines were thoroughly cleaned and cooked to an al dente perfection. A Hunan delicacy, and perfect with rice and plenty of beer.
Ssam Sanlitun, Beijing.
The bibimbap, rethought. Presentation was nice, but taste was only average.
